UIDAI is also preparing to introduce QR code-based verification, allowing secure Aadhaar card sharing for various purposes, such as hotel check-ins, train ticket verification, and government service identification.

What is Aadhaar Card?

Aadhaar card is a 12-digit unique identification number issued by the Government of India, serving as proof of identity and address. It records personal information and biometric data. Any Indian citizen can apply for Aadhaar after completing UIDAI's verification process.
