The story of a family heading to London in search of a new beginning in life, losses their lives in Ahmedabad plane crash

Dr. Pratik Joshi and his wife, Dr. Komi Vyas, along with their three children, were on their way to London to start a new chapter. Tragically, all five of them perished in the Ahmedabad plane crash.

The family's last photograph was captured just before their Ahmedabad-London flight took off. The flight crashed shortly after takeoff, claiming the lives of 241 people on board and leaving only one survivor.

Dr. Joshi had been working in London for six years, establishing his career and securing a future for his family.

Dr. Vyas, a physician in Udaipur, resigned from her position just two days before the family was scheduled to fly to London.

The couple and their children – 5-year-old twin boys Nakul and Pradyut, and 8-year-old daughter Miraya – all died in the Ahmedabad Air India plane crash.

What was intended to be a fresh start for this family became their tragic end.

These were just some of the 241 heartbreaking stories from the plane crash that has become India's deadliest in three decades.
